Located in the beautiful Black Bear Ridge Resort you will be just a few short miles away from all Pigeon Forge has to offer.

This exclusive log cabin community provides the perfect base for spending your days exploring then heading back to the cabin for a little peace and tranquility.

The Great Escape is the perfect cabin for your family members with mobility concerns. Equipped with an elevator means your entire family can enjoy all the amenities including the game room and movie theater.

Two large comfortable dens with sink-into sofas mean there’s plenty of space for family time but also somewhere to escape for a little peace and quiet.

Everyone will love their accommodations in one of our 6 bedrooms. The Great Escape offers 4 king suites, 1 queen suite, a bunk room, and a loft with 2 full size beds. Each bedroom benefits from its own ensuite bathroom plus there is an additional full bathroom in the game room.

Whether you are preparing a family feast or just a snack, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up the perfect meal. The BBQ/Grill means outdoor cooking can also be on the menu and your family can keep the grill master company while gathering around the gas firepit.

When you’re not out exploring all that Pigeon Forge has to offer, you can spend time chilling and chatting, challenging one another to a game of pool, foosball or air-hockey and the large flat screen TV in the game room means you can still play without missing the big game. Or gather together to watch your favorite movie in the theater room equipped with projector screen, surround sound and tiered theater seating.

You will receive one free ticket per day per group to each of the following: Dollywood, Dolly’s Splash Country, Pirates Voyage Dinner Show, Skyland Ranch, Titanic Museum, Wonderworks, Beyond the Lens, Country Tonite, Big Creek Expeditions, Top Jump, Crave Golf, Paula Deen’s Adventure Park, Legacy Zipline, Alcatraz East Crime Museum, Rocky Top Coaster, Rowdy Bear Snow Park, Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud, Soaky Mountain Water Park, Comedy Barn and The Grand Majestic Theater. Great place with a lot of room for everyone. Property was clean and comfortable. The location was also good as it was just far enough away from the tourist area but close enough to get there in a few minutes. The customer service was spot on as I received text throughout our stay checking to see if all was ok. We will be sure to keep this one on our list of places to stay.

This was our group's first time staying in The Great Escape but our third time renting with S&D Properties. As of yet, we have not been disappointed! They continue to be hospitable and quick to respond. Management is always eager to help. We found this cabin to suite our needs perfectly! We especially enjoyed the theater room and having plenty of space in the cabin for a large group. This cabin is very close to Pigeon Forge, and you can get there without traversing the winding backroads. We loved our stay and would recommend S&D Properties to anyone!

From the beginning to the end of our stay at The Great Escape was fantastic. Communication was fast and easy when needed. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do as well. We enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, hot tub, and theater room. Only minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend made the location of the cabin perfect for us. We had four families who really enjoyed this house with the theatre, table hockey, and plenty of space to socialize. The kitchen was well equipped, and everyone thought the beds were comfortable. Some of our group went hiking, while others enjoyed the attractions. It was nice to sit on the back porch in the shade with a lovely breeze.

Wonderful , we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our family of 26 people. We enjoyed the theatre room , and the hot tub and the game room. The elevator was great for my husband to use who has knee issues.
We cooked together with well stocked kitchen appliances.
Our location was great because we were the first house going up the Mountainside.
We had an issue with the clothes dryer and it was taken care of !!!🤗

We absolutely loved our vacation in the great escape cabin in pigeon Forge Tennessee the elevator was a lifesaver for allowing us ease of transporting for three children in wheelchair. there was plenty of beds, plenty of room not right on top of each other. The house was in good condition staff was very accommodating and answered questions very quickly. The check in and check out process was super easy will definitely rent again

Our group was made up of 10 adults and 7 kids and this place had more than enough room for everyone! We were all pleasantly surprised at the amount of space in the house - everything was laid out really well, allowing for most groups to have privacy even with a lot of people in the house. There was Christmas music playing when we walked in and a Christmas tree that really made everything so special. The location was pretty great, considering it only took us about 15 minutes to get downtown and it's the first house in the subdivision, so no super crazy hills to go up. Alexa was set up to give us all of the information we'd need for the house (wifi password, etc) and the property management team sent quick texts to check in once a day.

We really enjoyed our stay and would strongly recommend.

We were a group of 22 ranging in age from 1-70 and we all had a great time! The space was clean and comfortable and close to some terrific Smokey Mountain hiking. We all agreed that we would recommend this place for large groups and we look forward to a return trip in the future.
Kitchen is well equipped (except for cutting boards), the movie room is very comfortable, the game room has our favorites and the hot tub works great. The community pool is close by and we definitely cooled off there.
Only thing that needs repair/maintenance is the swing set. It's not very stable, but the slide (which my 1 year old grandson loved) was fine.
There were a couple of things that needed to be attended to when we first got there and it was taken care of within 24 hours. Bravo!
Thank you Great Escape for a wonderful opportunity for 3 generations to be together again after a very long 1 1/2 years of COVID separation.

We had 5 couples, 4 with handicap spouses so the elevator was essential. The house set up was perfect for us. We loved the back deck, whirlpool, bar stools at the kitchen counter for conversations/meal prep and the dining room table was large enough for all of us for dinners and game nights. House is close to downtown with lovely location in the woods, very peaceful. House is clean and kitchen is well equipped to meet traveler needs. The movie room was perfect for tv night and the game room was a nice area for some casual pool games. Overall excellent property for large family get together, plenty of space for together or alone time.

We also felt the cleaning crew was not paying attention to detail and this is very important to us so we made the decision to change cleaning services. Our new cleaners started this week.

The great escape was by far one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in so far! Very clean, kid friendly, convenient as far as location to all the shops, restaurants etc.. we will definitely book again in the future!
